The Executive Board wanted to update you all that today, the State Education Department will be conducting a conference call with all school districts superintendents to answer questions and put some guidelines out for moving forward. Tomorrow, leadership in WITA will be meeting to put a plan in place for our district. You will be notified about the steps ahead following this meeting.
We have been impressed with your continued willingness to do what is best for our students and we are encouraged by all of your ideas. However, despite the struggle you may be experiencing to get back to the work you love so much, we continue to ask that you do not engage with students and families beyond what we have outlined already. This is only the second week, and although you may be hearing from friends in other districts, or your own children's school districts, please stick with us as we create a plan the works for us, all of us.
