A Message from the Executive Board
The WITA Board of Directors, at our meeting on May 14th, voted to endorse Grace Kelly, Christina Marks, and Peter McCann for the West Islip Board of Education.
Each of these individuals embodies the leadership necessary to maintain the high-quality education that we, as teachers in the West Islip School District, provide on a daily basis. All three of these individuals are trustees on the current Board of Education and have children attending schools in the district. They have served through uncertain times and have the knowledge, experience, and commitment to ensure students receive the best education possible.
The West Islip Teachers’ Association has endorsed these experienced and dedicated leaders because they are committed to doing what is best for students and schools. If you are a West Islip resident, be sure to VOTE on Tuesday, May 20th, at West Islip High School from 7 am to 9 pm.
