The Public Relations Committee has begun WITA’s annual supply drive to support the West Islip Essential Needs Pantry and will collect donations through the end of February. The Pantry, operated by the district’s social workers, is a vital resource that helps West Islip families through difficult situations. They provide household resources such as soap, sponges, detergent, garbage bags, and baby supplies, among other similar things, that are important to support students we see in our classes daily. Donations may be dropped off with your building social worker or placed in the boxes in each school's lobby. Donations will be collected until the end of the month. Please give to those in need.
