A Message from the WITA Executive Board
There are over 800 local employers in New York State, including 171 school districts that are participating agencies of the NYSHIP Empire Plan. The CSEA has negotiated changes to the benefits of this health insurance plan that will go into effect on July 1st, 2023. Each of us should have received notification of these changes. There were adjustments to in-network limits as well as the maximum allowed amount for non-participating providers. It is important for you to familiarize yourself with these changes because they could cause an increase in out-of-pocket costs.
