Pool Bond Vote

There will be a bond vote tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23rd, at the West Islip High School from 7 am to 9 pm. This bond vote is for a renovation of the high school pool facility. This improvement project of 13.85 million dollars WILL NOT RAISE TAXES due to expiring debt and strategic financial planning. The pool is the most used facility in the district and is in dire need of replacement. This new and updated aquatic center will be a great opportunity for the students and community members of West Islip. If you are a West Islip resident, we encourage you to come out and support this project by voting YES tomorrow.
