This is an exciting time of year, but especially so for those who have decided to transition to retirement. So, as we prepare for spring break (which amounts to a brief taste of the future for our retirees), please join us in congratulating those of us who will be moving into this new and exciting phase of life. We thank them for their years of dedication to the West Islip Teachers’ Association, the West Islip School District, and the students of this community. This year’s group represents over 200 years of collective experience and commitment to public education. Please congratulate this year’s retirees!
