The Executive Board would like to wish you a happy start to the holiday season! Hopefully, you had the opportunity to visit with friends and loved ones over the Thanksgiving weekend. As we move closer to the end of 2021, there are a few things we would like to remind you of:
The WITA Public Relations Committee is now running a Toy and Holiday Fund Drive collecting new and unopened gifts through December 13th. All donations will go to the John Theissen Children’s Foundation to help sick and underprivileged children across Long Island. Please donate to this worthy charity if you have not already.
WITA leadership is asking all members to attend the Board of Education Meeting on December 9th at 7:30 pm in the Beach Street Middle School Auditorium. We want to show support for the Board of Education as they work to keep schools safe, healthy, and open for in-person education while returning to pre-pandemic procedures as much as circumstances allow.
The WITA delegates will be contacting all members to collect up-to-date contact information. We are in the process of creating new communications lists to send important information to all members both by e-Mail and text. Please make sure you speak to a delegate during the next week to include your information.
