This year, Election Day is on Tuesday November 5. As always, it is imperative that you exercise your right to vote and we ask you to consider the endorsed candidates.
There are also two important changes this year to make voting easier.
Beginning Saturday, October 26, and running through Sunday, November 3, any registered voter can go to a designated early voting polling site within their county and vote before Election Day. Locations are available throughout both Nassau and Suffolk counties (see reverse). It is important to note these locations will NOT be available on November 5 itself, when voters must use their assigned polling location.
Election Law 3-110
If you are a registered voter, you may take off up to 3 hours, without loss of pay, if you need time to vote. As per the law, you must provide the district with notification by the end of the day on October 31st if you intend to use this time.
