There will be a TRS Workshop at the Riverhead High School Auditorium, 700 Harrison Ave., Riverhead, NY on February 27, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. Parking is available behind the school building.
This program is intended for any and all members of the New York State Teachers Retirement System – Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
Please note, members who are in civil service job titles should not attend as they belong to a different retirement system for which we hold separate workshops.

The presenter is NYSTRS Board Trustee, and President of the William Floyd United Teachers, Ron Gross.
This presentation will provide an overview of the New York State Teacher's Retirement System, including some of the relevant options and pension calculations. We will also focus on the value of pensions in the national economy so members are properly prepared to address people who are critical of this valuable benefit.
