The West Islip Parent Teacher Association has been an essential partner in establishing and maintaining a strong school community in West Islip. Created in 1897, the national PTA is dedicated to promoting the welfare of all students in the home, school, and community. The PTA has a voice in federal, state, and local governments on various topics, from funding to standards. Our PTA has also helped share ideas about programs and activities that have benefited children and provided open lines of communication between those involved at all levels.
