A Message from the Political Action Committee
On May 17th, the annual School Budget Vote and Board of Education Trustee Election will take place.
This Monday, May 2nd, the West Islip PTA is hosting a “Meet the Candidates Night” in the Beach Street Middle School Auditorium at 7 pm. This year is a contested election between six candidates running for three open positions. Please attend this event and get to know all the candidates on the ballot.
On Tuesday, May 3rd, there will be a Community Event and Food Supply Drive to benefit Our Lady of Lourdes Outreach Center and the West Islip Schools Essential Needs Pantry. This event will be hosted by three of the candidates running for the Board of Education, Tom Compitello, Grace Kelly, and Pete McCann, who the West Islip Teachers Association has endorsed. Please attend this event and support these candidates.
