I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for continuing to show solidarity in this critical phase of the contract negotiations. At this time I want to update you that the district and WITA are very close to an agreement.
Our strength is in our unity, and as such, I ask that you attend the Board of Education meeting this Thursday Evening at 8 pm at Beach Street Middle School. Please arrive early wearing your WITA BLUE and we will enter the meeting together.
The outcome of this meeting will determine whether we will settle our contract or move to impasse.
This Thursday please join us in being WITA Strong.
