P.S. I Love You Day is held on the second Friday of February each year in an effort to stand up against bullying, help end depression, and raise awareness around mental health issues and suicide prevention. This annual event was created by West Islip graduates Brooke and Jamie DiPalma, whose lives were impacted by these issues in 2010. P.S. I Love You Day will be held on February 11th, 2022.
West Islip Teachers’ Association is supporting the cause through a donation and fundraiser. Please see a WITA delegate to donate five dollars and wear jeans on Friday, January 21st, 2022. All funds will go toward purchasing purple P.S. I Love You Day flags, which will be displayed along Lions Path and Higbie Lane, and raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
Please contribute, and don’t forget to wear jeans on Friday.
