The West Islip Teachers’ Association awards scholarships each year to graduating seniors of WITA members. The Scholarship Committee selected three applicants and awarded scholarships at the general membership meeting in May. In addition, the Long Island Teachers Benevolent Fund (LIBTF) awards scholarships to graduating seniors of members in participating locals. This year we are proud to announce two recipients who were awarded LIBTF scholarships.

- Isabella Keogan - daughter of Adriana Lagunas Keogan
- Laura Marino - daughter of Linda Marino
LIBTF Scholarship Awards
- Evan Gottesman - son of Lynette Gottesman
- Riley Wallace - daughter of Shawn Wallace
