Each year, graduating seniors of WITA members are invited to apply for the West Islip Teachers’ Association Memorial Scholarship and the Long Island Teachers’ Benevolent Fund (LIBTF) Len Motisi Memorial Scholarship. Applications for each award and their respective due dates are on the WITA website and below. When completing the Len Motisi Memorial Scholarship application, your WITA Local # (02-055) and your NYSUT Member # are needed. You can find your Member # by logging into the NYSUT website or emailing Joe Dixon at president@westislipteachers.org, which will be sent to you.
- West Islip Teachers’ Association Memorial Scholarship – Due by April 29, 2024
- Len Motisi Memorial Scholarship Application – Due by March 4, 2024
