It is hard to imagine how we will return to that world that we left on March 11. This "new normal", as some are calling it, is a difficult adjustment as we continue to endure a separation from a world that connects us socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We are well aware that so many of you are experiencing a range of emotions and trying so hard to put everything in perspective. Hold tight to your beliefs, your convictions, and your future goals.
This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. We educators need to take pride in the amazing way we have found creative, ingenious ways to instruct our students and remain dedicated to our profession. There have been many challenges along the way as we continue to implement remote teaching and learning, but what resonates most is the professional fortitude found in your passion and commitment to your students. Thank you for your strength of spirit and inspiration.
We know you have many questions about our spring break and the last day of school. These are two of the many things we have been working with the district on. Please be assured we will keep you apprised. Our plans will comply with state guidelines and will reflect the best interest of our school community.
With gratitude and admiration.
