Tenure is a significant milestone in the career of an educator, and once reached, it may be something that we think little about. However, it offers many protections, including the freedom to advocate on behalf of your students and your profession without worry of reprisal. It also guarantees a teacher’s right to due process to prevent arbitrary firing that is without merit. Tenure is an important moment in our careers, and this year, we congratulate six of our colleagues for reaching this milestone and look forward to their continued success!
